Remo and Chiun face a diabolical dictator and a female fiend in a Mideast hell
![]()
Everything that Maddas Hinsein touched turned to blood as the mad-dog dictator of outlaw Irait pursued his plans of conquest by taking over tiny oil-rich Kuran. Only Remo and Chiun could stop this man who was up to his mustache in gore. But Remo was possessed, slave to his immortal nemesis, the death goddess Kali. And the feeble Chiun was merely a shadow of his former awesome self. Unless CURE's terrific twosome could be restored to their full powers, Maddas Hinsein would turn the whole into one...

Oh boy. Remo is possessed by Shiva for about 95% of this novel, fighting the old evil babe with way too many arms, Kali. They destroy much of Irait in a dance of death, and threaten to destroy the rest of the world as well...
Some of Chiun's battle buddies come to the rescue...Chiun has a face-off with Shiva..And Maddas (er, Saddam) dances in women's clothing. This was a great book! I found #85 months after reading #86 - and it was really required reading to see where this story opens up at.
Chiun is still recovering from his entombment in his self-made underground "grave", and CURE is without it's enforcement arm yet again!
Can Chiun save Remo from Shiva? Can Shiva save Remo from Kali? Can the world survive the likes of Don Cooder and Reverend Jackman?
This was one of the best lampoonings in the series. The entire middle-east is taken to task, and it is hilarious.
