America is the target and Remo the fall guy in a terror plot made in Japan
Nemuro Nishitsu remembered Pearl Harbor. He also remembered the rest of World War II and Japan's humiliating defeat. Nishitsu had been a humble soldier then. He was Japan's number one industrialist now. And he had the money, the power, and the madness to script a sneak attack that made Pearl Harbor look like a childish prank...made in the U.S.A. a pitiful helpless giant...and made Remo and Chiun the country's last vanishing hope...as the flag of foreign conquest was planted in the American heartland, and the Destroyer was X-ed out of the action...
Yuma, Arizona basically gets invaded by Panasonic or Sony. The locals thought it was all a WWII movie. The local Army and Air Force bases are taken out, and Remo gets to sky dive without a parachute - and tries his Sinanju levitating skills.
Shiva emerges, destroying all that stands in his way. The Destroyer tears apart tanks, wrecks infantry, and basically wastes Japan's baddies.
We also get the first hints at who Remo's father really is, and see the spark of concern and jealousy flame up in Chiun.
