Remo Williams and Chiun, the deadly duo, tackle a giant union whose bosses are threatening to paralyze the United States

He still did not know all the duties of a union delegate, or all the essential provisions of the Landrun-Griffin Bill, but "upstairs" had said he should be ready very shortly for something big. They even said to ignore the hit on Thurgood if it would too much time away from his studies of the union movement.
"I might as well do the hit," Remo said. "It'll be a good break."
So there he was standing at the door of the Thurgood residence, ringing the doorbell. A large man in a white houseboy coat stood in the doorway like a surpass wall. A small pistol, almost but not quite hidden - probably a .25 caliber Baretta - was strapped underneath his armpit.
"Good morning," said Remo sweetly. "I've come to kill Mr. Thurgood, is he in?"

Some super secret agency is planning to create a super union that will control all transportation, from airlines to trucks. Smitty realizes that would be far too much power for a single union, so sends in Remo to find the mastermind.
Guess who? Remo attempts to break in to the new union headquarters, and FAILS. Chiun leaves to inspect the building after Remo reports his defeat. Chiun basically states that the building is Sinanju-proof! Only another person trained in Sinanju could have done such a thing - Nuihc is baaack!
This time he tries to turn Remo to his side, but it's a no-sale. As Remo lies dying and broken, it's up to Chiun to save him. Ah, but Nuihc is also from Sinanju, and ancient law forbids the Master of Sinanju from taking the life of a villager.
At times it looks like Remo was made for union work - hell, he enjoys fights, killing, and bullying (the right people.) There's an interesting attempt on Remo's life (Remo vs a truck in a dead-end alley), and of course some good fighting between Chiun and Nuihc.
Anyone notice...Chiun is Nuich backwards?
