Okay, the House of Wo was steamed. But two thousand years was a long time to hold a grudge against the Destroyer. The Wos were like that, though. Give those guys a revenge motive, and it was carved in stone. The family stone. Where Prince Wo the Nearly Great had preprogrammed the Destroyer to self-destruct...unless Chiun could get his mind off sex and back onto violence where it belonged...
Another upstart house has it in for Sinanju, and all their best are after poor old Remo. Underwater, on land - he's just not safe. As soon as he thinks he's doing OK, another attempt on his life. In the end, the demented Wos' try and pit Remo against Chiun, after finally discovering that only one could kill the other.
One of the more intricately spun story lines, with the usual splattering of brains, spattering of death-crazed nut cases, and of course the sexy babe that Remo falls for.
Chiun gets a MAJOR case of jealousy, while Remo has to survive the Wos' trials of the Seventh Stone. And of course, Chiun knows what is going on, but he won't let on - like usual. And also like usual, Remo is totally in the dark.
