I suppose some of you might need to be reminded about this colorful character, Ruby Gonzalez, who appeared in only a handful of books before taking a powder.

Ruby worked for the CIA and pieced together enough about CURE from Remo's careless conduct that she was able to blackmail Smith into a job, however, she conculded it wasn't too her liking.

Remo later fathered a child with Jilda the Viking who has already appeared and will undoubtedly appear again, however, as a new head of CURE is groomed, it seems appropriate that Ruby be given her due too.
