Several apparently guilty criminals are being aqcuitted right and left due to rampant police corruption and evidence tampering. CURE investigates into the backgrounds of the different civilian criminologists who are handling forensics. A revered forensics instructor who has instructed many of the nation's best has inroads into several of these private agencies (spies, blackmail,hyponosis, whatever it takes). The instructor periodically accepts a retainer from friends of those on trial to make sure evidence does not hold up in court.
