The same Caribean island used from the novel "Voodoo Die" now has a new government. The new president for life, who makes Ida Amin and Saddam Hussein look like Mr. Rogers and Captain Kangaroo, rules the place with an iron fist. He conducts purges whenever he feels paraniod, which is most of the time, and sets himself up as head of the national church. He conducts a purge of the local Voodoo cults, and is at war with rebels. He also has a military advisor, a white mercenrary and former member of the Russian military. He poses no direct international threat to anyone, but is setting a teribble precedent. CURE takes an interest, and so do the surviving Voodoo practitioneers.
