When a Chinese diplomat en route to Cuba is kidnapped by pirates, Remo and Chiun are sent to investigate before the incident leads to World War III. Unfortunately, the pirates involved are not a rogue group of SCA members out for a murderous lark but rather a band of immortal buccaneers led by a mysterious figure known only as Greybeard the World's Oldest Pirate. Once again Remo has to deal with an unkillable adversary, and if he fails, the Chinese Premier's favorite diplomat ends up in Davey Jones's locker and the whole world goes up in smoke.
