Ships are being attacked in the waters off Florida. They are being hit by pirates. The strange thing is the pirates are using ancient galleons in their activities. Smith sends Remo to be a passenger on a cruise ship in hopes that it will be attacked and Remo can then deal with the problem. The ship is attacked, Remo boards the pirate vessel, and he finds pirates, original pirates. They use cutlasses and cannons. The leader is Blackbeard the Pirate. Where did they come from and why are sixteenth century pirates operating in twentyfirst century waters.
