Remo awakes one morning to find a note laying on Chiun's mat. Chiun has left and Remo must prove his worth in the eyes of all the Master's before him by surviving without the advice of Chiun. This is the only way he may become a full master since he refuses to grow his nails. Only a past evil has come looking for vengance against Sinanju and only Chiun knows how to defeat it.
